In case you missed it, Sunday I stepped onto my soapbox about OCD, giving you the top ten things you should never say to someone with OCD. Please read the post if you haven’t yet, because this is OCD Awareness Week and there are so many misunderstandings about this disease.
Now back to your regularly scheduled chaos.
Or not so regular.
You see this is a very important week for Lil Diva.
She’s in her very first baby contest.
Not just any contest.
This is not a my-child-is-so-adorable-it-makes-yours-look-a-troll contest.
This is the a my-baby’s-glare-could-melt-you-into-gelatinous-goo-because-you-didn’t-give-her-the-slice-of-cheese contest.
In other words, it’s a baby glare off contest going on all this week at Mommy Shorts.
It’s bracket style, with the winner moving on the next day to the next round. That’s one vote, each day before midnight (eastern time, I believe), with the winner being announced by the end of the week.
At the end? There can be only one.
I don’t often ask for much.
Please, go over and vote for Lil Diva. There are a lot of high powered mommy bloggers out there who will pull their weight.
But really, how can you beat the perfection of Lil Diva’s evil Chucky glare?
It is downright uncanny.
The voting for each pairing is just beneath their photos, so you can scroll down and vote for just Lil D each day or you can vote for as many pairings as you want.
Be sure to vote each day before midnight.
Because while she does have a smile capable of melting the Devil himself, she can also channel her inner demon when she doesn’t get her two year old way…..
UPDATE: Voting is now closed. Lil Diva was eliminated in round 1 against Chelsea, whose pirate glare into the camera and scary stickers snatched victory from Lil Diva by .2%.
That’s right. She lost by 1/5 of a percentage point.
Thank you to all who voted!
