Lil Diva the Climber versus Tackler the Fish

We’ve had some extra chaos here lately. I’ve had to accomplish things, kids haven’t napped when I/we have been home, the Poopapalooza Spectacular we’ve had going on this last week…. Craziness.

The Tackler in Time Out this morning.

The tackler had an AWESOME swim lesson yesterday. He listened. He SWAM! He didn’t try to run away at all (first time EVER), and he only jumped into the pool once when he wasn’t supposed to.  It’s like he’s a completely different child in swim class now.  I wish my iPod could take video, as hauling the video camera to the gym is not really feasible…

Lil Diva after she learned to climb the slide.

Lil Diva added a new skill today: she can climb the slide on the Kangaroo Climber. Her determination is incredible. She did the exact same thing when learning to stand on her own and push up to all fours. You could SEE it on her face. “I am going to do this. And it’s making me mad when I keep falling, but I WILL GET IT.” And usually within the same day of witnessing this thought she does.

Now I’m dreading the day she decides to climb out of her crib….
