Brain Clog, Boring Blog

It was a day of attempting to get stuff done, sometimes succeeding, sometimes failing miserably.

It’s a blur.

I hate teething.

Lil Diva can be a charmer when she wants to be.

The Tackler had “school with Bobbi” during which he was uncooperative in learning, but happy helping cook a no-bake lasagna (which he devoured). Lil Diva alternated between gloriously happy and clingy.

I managed to unload and reload the dishwasher, clean some of the kitchen and do a single load of laundry. I also shopped at Fry’s and purchased an iPod docking stereo so we can have tunes upstairs without blaring the downstairs speakers to do so. (Update: the stereo did not work a year before dying. Remember when Sony meant it wasn’t a cheap piece of junk?)

I made it to Zumba class.

CG did yard work all morning while The Tackler was gone.

The Tackler loves his Thomas vehicle - perfect for ramming the walls or his sister.

The Boy and his train.

Sadly, this qualifies as a “productive day” with two young children.

Lil Diva finds the forbidden staircase VERY attractive so we’re going to have to gate it off.. again. Not sure how her brother will react, given that his “put your toys here so your sister won’t eat them” is upstairs, and the gate is a bit tricky to work.

Life could be much more… challenging when that occurs.

Because every day life certainly isn’t challenging enough.

Night all.
